Hat Trick finds love through a passion for food: Dinner Date 30 x 1 hour series commissioned by ITV1

Hat Trick International will be launching a new dating / cooking format at Mipcom this October.

DINNER DATE is a factual entertainment series that has something for everyone.   In each episode someone is given the chance to find true love over three meals... each cooked by a blind date in their own home.

We all have an opinion about what makes a good meal and we‘ve all played matchmaker at some time or another, in this new show from Hat Trick, you get to do both.  This is a very simple and highly returnable series that can run as long as there are single people who are hungry!

Alison Sharman has commissioned a tx pilot of DINNER DATE for ITV1.   The show will be exec produced by Claire Collinson-Jones at Hat Trick.    Jimmy Mulville, MD of Hat Trick, says: "This is a great format which combines all the excitement and anxiety of a first date with the nightmares that can happen in a kitchen.  It‘s funny and it‘s compelling."

Hat Trick International owns all format rights, international programme distribution and merchandising rights for DINNER DATE, one of the wide-ranging slate of programmes the company will be selling at this year‘s MIPCOM in October.
