Hat Trick comedy to be adapted for M6 in France
Hat Trick International has licensed the script and format rights to hit comedy The Worst Week Of My Life to French Producer Les Productions de l'Abreuvoir for a French adaptation for commercial broadcaster M6. Production is due to start in Autumn 2009 for a transmission during the third quarter of 2010. The local title is yet to be confirmed.
The Worst Week Of My Life, written by Mark Bussell and Justin Sbresni, had three series on BBC ONE in the UK, and has also been adapted in the US (CBS) and Germany (Sat1), with an Italian version currently in development for Mediaset. The show has also been a success in it's original form, selling to over twenty broadcasters, including Canal+ France, ABC Australia, BBC America, YLE Finland and HBO Central Europe.
