Father Ted

Synopsis

A wildly original, multi award winning comedy about three Irish priests who are banished for past mistakes and general ineptitude, to one small God-forsaken island off the west coast of Ireland with the most consistently awful weather in the world. Life is hard for Father Ted who is forced to share his house with Father Jack (who has not been sober since 1936), Father Dougal (young, innocent and almost inconceivably stupid) and Mrs Doyle (the housekeeper whose sole purpose in life is to supply the priests with cups of tea, usually against their will).

Written by Arthur Mathews (Fast Show, Brass Eye, Big Train) and Graham Linehan (Black Books, The IT Crowd, Big Train).
